As of the first week of August, the shelves at my local Michaels is pretty much stocked with their Halloween products for this year. I went on a recon mission and took some photos...
Various shiny, sparkly and dangling decor. Much of these look similar to what they had last year:
Cute and colorful candles and candle holders:
The annual array of figure busts and tombstones:
Some very cool changing portraits:
Their array of props - spiders, bones, chains and limbs:
The Spooky Town animated village pieces are mostly contained on one aisle end-cap here:
Some more Spooky Town items and larger decor items:
Potions and poisons:
Sickeningly cute figurines:
Bright and pun-filled signage:
And... the radiant orange mecca for pumpkin lovers:
Note all the tools near the pumpkins... LED lights, Versa Tool, battery-powered carvers, artificial carving kits, Jack-o-ripper scoops, etc.
They have pumpkins in three sizes. The full size is priced regularly at $21.99, mediums at $12.99 and small ones at $8.99
Those prices are a bit high, you can do better by waiting for a sale (pretty much a constant occurrence, especially once Halloween is close and they want to start moving them out). You can also check for weekly COUPONS.
Check the COUPON link for next week's discount offerings which includes 40% off any item. That will get you a large pumpkin for under $14.
And then in the next aisle we have the Christmas goods. Wait... what?!
