So I'm trying to set up a decent display for outside this year. It's a little hard since I live on a city block with narrow sidewalks, but I'm going to do my best! One of the things I definitely want to do is a smoking cauldron. We used to do this years ago with dry ice. I'm a bit worried about that being too dangerous to have out with all the little kids. Anybody have any other suggestions for this?

I put a mister in my cauldron, it works great. If the cauldron is plastic just put in water and the mister. I put a small hole in mine at the back for the electric plug.

I have played around with Misters, fog and dry ice in cauldrons. Dry ice is very impressive, but a lot of work. Misters are a good option, just make sure you have replacement discs and a key to replace them. Some function better at a very specific water level, so watch out for evaporation.
