I found this guy on extreme pumpkins:

I want to use one of my larger, evil lumpy ones to do this. What are the community thoughts on how to make the teeth white? Acrylic paint?

yep

let the teeth dry out a little bit then apply white over it and it will help seal it some

Yup! I did it last year on one of my kins (sorry no photo as my camera busted just after Halloween). I just painted the teeth with 2 coats of white glue to seal then use acrylic craft paint. Then I sealed it again with a little more white glue. Didn't budge a bit!
