Well I just Googled his user name and got 5,090 hits and they are all in very different types of forums and websites where one could post announcements. Do I smell the seeds of future spam? He's signed up for everything from small boating forums to Tamagotchi Social Sphere? We will see I guess, good catch Mark.

I'm pretty skeptical of any brand new user, with only one post made in a fairly buried topic. I try to go by an "innocent until proven guilty" procedure, but believe me, they're considered to be on probation, under my watchful eye.

I just had that user on my mind because the previous link is my forum. I will say that at least the posts seem to be about the topic. It looks like it's a person who is reading the threads.

But unlike Ryan, I err on the side of caution. If it is seems fishy, it's gone. I might just delete the post and not the user. Or, I might just remove the signature from the post and see what happens.
