My pumpkin carving weekend continued today. After meeting Ray Villafane yesterday, the Maniac Pumpkin Carvers were in my town doing a carving display to kick off Pumpkin Fest here in Mahopac. What a great bunch of guys they are! There wasn't much of a crowd unfortunately when I was there but they took time to talk to everyone and even let the kids help them with their carves. They also signed postcards and took pictures with everyone. Really cool guys. You may remember Chris from Season 1 of Halloween Wars.

Hey, you're meeting all the big guns of the pumpkin carving world. That's great that you've found these events, and are close enough to see the carves and meet these guys. They all seem like cool people. But then again, anyone who has a passion for carving pumpkins is obviously a cool person, right?
