I know by now most of you have heard about the death of Steve Irwin AKA The Crocodile Hunter. As the world, I was stunned by his recent death and really wanted to do a tribute to him. Pumpkinglow.com has already posted a stencil of Steve but when I saw this picture attached to an article about his death, it made me think of all the good things that Steve has done for wildlife and the world. I'd like to request it (if possible):

You're right, Tkaraoke. That looks much better than Pumpkin Glow's version (no offense to Pumpkin Glow).

While PG's Irwin is a really good tribute carving, I don't think it captures the love for wildlife that Mr. Irwin had like that photo.

I'm not sure if any pattern can capture the expression on Steve's face or his love of wildlife but I thought at least this pic would be a good model to pull from.

I'd also like a stencil from that picture. The world just got 10% less awesome now that he's gone.

That's an awesome idea. I'm definitely going to do a Steve Irwin pumpkin this year.
