I know they're not THAT old, but they are from a time when cartoons weren't quite as "fashionable" as they are today.

I was a big time Nickelodeon fan back in the day. Rocco was by far and away my favorite. Liked Rugrats too. Hey Arnold was right at the tail end, and I was too old for Spongebob.

Ahh!!! Real Monsters would be some fun carves. And even if people didn't know the characters they would still fit into the Halloween Theme.

When the crypt goes creak,
And the tombstones quake.
Spooks come out for a swinging wake.
Happy haunts materialize,
And begin to vocalize.
Grim grinning ghosts come out to socialize.
