I was scanning through my copy of "The Winston Effect: The art and history of Stan Winston" and thought about this as a suggestion.

How about a mid-transformation image from "Earth Vs The Spider" ?

I couldn't really find any decent high-contrast images online that clearly showed his mutated face (multiple eyes, distended forehead and mandibles) but the book has a few.

I don't think it's a film to watch for the plot or even necessarily the acting, but for the special effects and makeup.
