As long as we're all coming up with great ideas, how about stencils of the following:

Amityville Horror(a stencil of the house would be really scary)
The Ring(Semara climbing out of the well, well need I say more)
The Creeper(already suggested him the other day)
Jaws(one of my fav movies)
Blade
The Exorcist(almost too scary to suggest)

If I think of more I'll post them later.

Jaws on a pumpkin would be sweet - like the movie poster

Jeepers Creeper and the Amityville Horror House would be cool too.

I'm kinda partial to the Headless Horseman from Sleepy Hollow too.

I don't know how, but a Jason Voorhees would be cool too!
