I grabbed one of these from Hobby Lobby the other day and I wonder if anybody has had experience using the "v" carver. The instructions says you should use both hands when using the tools provided but for the life of me I'm not sure why.

This is the prianry tool that I use for etching my pumpkins. You only need one hand on the tool, but the other hand to hold the pumpkin (I guessing that is what Pumpkin Masters is trying to get at). Anyways for light cuts you don't need to apply much pressure, for deeper cuts apply more pressure. It works great on real pumpkins. On Michael's funkin knockoff it doesn't work (v-cutter blade gets gummed up with the top layer of skin.
