Boy, let me tell ya...
If you like the sculpting work of removing rind in thin lines and tight corners, and getting perfect control over how much flesh you leave in a certain spot, it's hard to beat these little tools.
4 Piece Hollow-Head Wax Carving Tool Set
You can also find them at Amazon for about ten bucks.
One side of each hollow tip is edged, not razor sharp, but enough to slice into hard jewelers wax (and fingers, too.) It can shape pumpkin meat with all the control and specificity you need.
These aren't going to cover the same area as the larger rind removers that Pumpkin Masters used to sell, or the woodcarving sets you see in craft stores. They're smaller, the larger tips just under the width of your pinky tip, and they shave all day.
Consider adding these to your arsenal.
