I had an assembly line tonight. We gutted, thinned and sprayed pumpkin fresh on 15 pumpkins tonight. Tomorrow I'll resize and apply patterns and let them dry, and start carving tomorrow night.

I'd like to do more, but even with the help of the pumpkin gutter, my hands are sore!

Approximately 70 patterns on and 42 of those gutted, thinned and ready to carve.

That's with just two of us working. My son and his girlfriend are going to help out Tuesday and Wednesday so hopefully we can get all these done by the 31st.

Last year we misted about half with bleach after carving. I didn't notice any difference over the long run so we're sticking to sprinkling some cinnamon inside to make it smell good on Halloween.
