I tried something different this year and bought this oddly shaped pumpkin from Michael's. I thought it looked cool with the curly stem but now I can't think of what pattern what look best carved on it. Any ideas? Also do I need to do anything special to the pattern to get it to fit correctly on the pumpkin? Thanks!

Yes I saw these at my Michaels too, didn't really consider them much. I may buy one of the pumpkin stacks though.

You could do a Grinning Jack, might have to resize the pattern.

Are you suggesting yet another Cheshire Cat, Dredge? :D I have one of those oddly shapes pumpkins sitting around from last year, still uncarved. I think I may have an idea for it. I'll post a photo once I carve it.

pagemaster1993 -- Good call! That whole gourd is very Smurf-head-shaped. Just needs some ears added.
