Thanks for the update (sure it'll help others in a similar jam)
How about a small bit of solder & a solder sucker to assist removal when it's time for a blunt blade change?
hopefully simple & permanent enough.
I guess tape would merely open up the gripping area leading to more slippage when pressure is placed upon it?
