No, I'm not torturing pumpkins in my yard. 
I just stepped out back to bring one of my cats in and the scent on the air is like opening up a pumpkin late Halloween evening after the candle has burned for a few hours. Such a lovely smell.
I can only assume a neighbour is doing something to some poor local pumkin and just makes me happier than ever that I brought Priscilla in off her vine.
I hope she makes it to Halloween!
