I lost a few of the little eyes on the skulls too. That's what I used eyelash glue to re attach.

Small details like eyes and teeth - are why I keep in my bag (see close call with calamity) a set of nail files.

I have found these invaluable in previous years for just filing back the edges to help carve the shapes I need.

Awesome job on the portrait. The picture you had seems a little hard to work with (no shadows), but you still pulled it off. Great job!

I agree that "seeing" the pattern is pretty hard. These stencilers do a great job.
