I had heard about using a sawsall or jigsaw to cut the tops off Ihad never tried it till this year works like a charm I would not try it on a stencil way to fast to control but on the cirle around the stem it is a dream ,20 pumpkins in less than 5 minutes gutting them was a different story

Man, with cutting the tops, nothing does me better than a good ole butcher knife. I quite enjoy playing the theme from Psycho whilst I cut the tops hehe
