Since this has not been started I really thought not only me, but some other members or previous fans of ZP would want to say thank you in their own way to Ryan. I will tell my story first...

First I want to say, Ryan thank you for making incredible stencils. Last year the neighbors came, left and came back bringing their friends because the stencils were so cool. People loved Michael Myers and loved that I did Harry Potter for the kids. Your stencils blow Pumpkin Masters out of the water and though pumpkin masters is a great company with great stencils I feel your stencils meet the community of a more modern day pumpkin and modern stenciling. Halloween grows and evolves differently each year and I think it's important to not do the same kind of thing every single year, and each year you have done brand new stencils that have been incredible. Zombie Pumpkins could easily turn into the New Pumpkin Masters and you could create an incredible company out of it. Thank you for your unique stencils and all the time you put into them.

Thanks Adam! I really appreciate the comments. I love hearing stories from Zombie Pumpkin carvers that tell me what a hit their Halloween was, thanks to their unique jack-o-lanterns. Stories like this are what keep me going! :D

It is pretty cool. I wouldn't be surprised to see Zombie Pumpkin pattern books come out in stores one day. :)

Here here! I'll admit that the quality and quantity of Ryan's work really was the inspiration (can be blamed?) for why I have done my designs. I can't thank you enough for allowing me to post my personal work here. Rock on.

This was our first year doing carvings, and we used 3 stencils: Jack Skellington (Happy), Zero, and Tigger. We put Jack on a huge pumpkin, and Zero and Tigger on small pumpkins (which made carving them very difficult!).

This was our first year in our new community, so we had no idea what to expect until the day before Halloween when our neighbors warned us about how huge Halloweeen is in our tiny town. We had over 500 trick or treaters (plus parents/guardians escorting them). Our pumpkins were a huge hit! There was actually a huge bottleneck at times right in front of our house because people were stopping to check out our pumpkins. Tigger was by far the most popular of all, as we had lots of little kids making the rounds. Now we know that Tigger needs to go on a big pumpkin next year!

Anyway, we were so pleased by the response to our pumpkins that we’re going to do carvings on a much grander scale next year. We’re going to split our display into 2 parts – carvings adults will appreciate, and a side geared to kids. I'm going to post in the request forum, as I'm hoping there will be a bigger selection of stencils to choose from on the kids page next year.

Look forward to seeing what you have on your website next year!
