Thank you all! Carved up Groot tonight! Let me tell you, I went through hell trying to get this guy staged

. It was too dark to see the tree, so I managed with some branches.

Groot is amazing! Seeing it carved makes me want to carve it. It also makes me wish I had some of those poseable pumpkin vine arms...

I love them all, great job! I think I am gonna carve Mortem too!

Whenever I have to urge to run through my yard naked, I drink some Windex. It keeps me from streaking.

Great idea, Raven. I do have the vine arms and even the legs. I have them on my hitchhiking ghost right now. Curled the fingers and thumb on one hand into an actual hitchhiking pose. But they may need to go into a Groot carving this year.

Thanks everyone for all the kind words over this season! Here are the VIP's I've done so far this year, Meg Mucklebones was such a fun carve! My second favorite VIP this year, They Live being my favorite. Now I'm not done yet! I have to go get some pumpkins, but I plan on carving Christopher Lee, They Live, Wednesday Addams, and possibly whatever Ryan has up his sleeve next!

What's your favorite scary movie?
