When I carve this early, you know what happened: one of my pumpkins started to rot. :cry: That's the second one this year, the first one was too far gone to save, but this one I spotted in time. Too bad, these were my two largest pumpkins...

Oh well, an easy one for practice. Didn't get a chance to take a decent picture, but I'll do that soon.

Wow! If that's not a decent picture then I don't know what is. Love how you have carved this Dadja, really love it, shading the beard really adds depth. First class! 8)

You've nailed that shading technique, the lighting looks so smooth, you must be removing such an even layer of pumpkin flesh. As the others said, perfect choices on where to shade. Giving him a grey beard and some shadow under his hat brim. Superb.
