It's just one of those battery operated tea lights. I use them in all my fake pumpkins (sometimes I use two or three to make it super bright).

It's a great pic. The pumpkin looks brilliant in low light or dark. Choice of pattern and colour of kin are inspired. Wow, if all your others turn out this way, you are in for a fab season.

Here's my newest carve (in all her b&w glory). I managed to get one of those tall black craft pumpkins from Target. They seem to carve a little easier than the ones at Michaels. The trade off is that the edges come out rougher and you have to go back and smooth everything over.

Great carve! I have never carved any of the target craft pumpkins. How would you describe the foam? Would it melt or burn with a hot knife?
