First ever pumpkin carving!#74433

I thought I would share the first pumpkin I have ever carved, was it a good Idea to start with a veteran pattern, I'll let you decide.

I took a photo in the daylight and a photo at night. Phone quality though I'm afraid, here they are:

They are excellent pictures. For a first carve choosing ET was a bold move but you've carved him brilliantly. He looks spectacular. Great job

Thanks for the comment, was a bit bold especially with a craft knife and a little old one handed wood saw but hopefully some justice has been done.

That E.T. appears to have come out great! The difficulty rankings really aren't about the pervious experience required. Really it's more about your personal commitment to the design. If you feel ambitious and don't mind cutting out that many pieces, then you can do it!
