I know I’m late to the post, but your work is so neat! Is it difficult for someone that is not super crafty? I always like crafts that repurpose items. Do you buy the patterns?
I saw an example somewhere of a figure walking into the book that was really cool but I’m not sure if it was folded or constructed some other way.

It's very easy to do once you "get" how they are measured. Youtube has instructional video's (how to fold and make your own patterns) and Etsy has a ton of patterns for sale.
