Haha, I got that same email. How spammy. In my version, they said they ran across my site http://www.zombiepumpkins.com/maillist.php and they asked for a link on that page. Why they would want to be linked on my mailing list page is beyond me. Oh yeah, because this email was sent by a bot. Well, needless to say, I will not be linking to that contact lens website (nor even mentioning their URL).

Anyone who has their email listed as "public" will be up for spam from the forum. A bot will come and crawl a site. They'll mention the site, because they think that by mentioning the name they can garnish some trust from you.
