I'd bet dollars to donuts, 99% of the people here, have never read them all the way through. And really, who does? Oh, absolutely. I'm almost certain that nobody fully reads my Terms & Conditions when they join. But what matters is that they said they did and they agreed to it by clicking that "I a...

St0ney, you are absolutely right about the T&C violations, but I'd bet dollars to donuts, 99% of the people here, have never read them all the way through. And really, who does? It's all the standard stuff, for the most part - play nice, no cussin' an' swearin', an' no nekkid pictures  . For th...

Not to be the fly in the ointment, but there are two seperate things going on here. First, ZombiPumpkins is the sole intellectual property owner of MOST of their stencils. I say most, because technically, Columbia/Tri-star could claim ownership of the GhostBusters logo and might not like anyone else...

I always cut the top. And because I use an x-acto knife, the cut is invisible. You'd never know the top comes off.

At christmastime, my parents have a dozen or so of the christmas villiage houses, plus other sets (skiers, skaters, etc), running off of 2 power strips, running in series (one plugged into the other). I know it works because I'm the one that has to go over there and set it up every year. After 8 yea...

Thank you very much, guys :D . I try to convince people that are having parties, to let me do some carving work on the watermelons and such, but so far, no takers - oh well. On my wolfman, I slipped and broke off one of his nostrils. Thankfully, foam goes back together, quite nicely, with some crazy...

If I might make a suggestion, for all those that transfer, in advance - consider using a pounce wheel http://www.micromark.com/3-piece-pounce-wheel-set,6668.html. This set is a little pricey, but you can get individual pounce tools for less than $9. They're used for transfering drawings from paper, ...

I had purchased these little flashing LED lights from Michael's for use with my foam pumpkins. The brightness is excellent, but they chewed through 3 batteries, just after 4 hours of operation. Granted, I'm willing to bet that the lights come with the cheapest AG13 batteries, know to mankind. Replac...

Thank you for the kind words, and welcomes, everyone :D . I had considered using the versa tool (I used to do woodburning crafts, as a kid, and already have the base unit), but I like to carve while watching tv, and I don't want to get careless and burn down the house. The shavings are enough of a m...

New to foam carving, my first batch - update 10/23/12

Hi guys, I'm relatively new to elaborate pumpkin carving, and this is my first year carving foam. I got into foam, after having to throw away last year's creation, on a real pumpkin. Anyway, here are my first pumpkins for this year. All are done using Michael's foam pumpkins, carved exclusively with...
