That shredder was cool, but I'd like to see someone using a wood chipper. THAT would take care of them in NO time!

Yeah, a while back, ALL of both Ryan and my patterns showed up on some pirate site, available for download. I'm sure that's what prompted Ryan to go the "print only" route with the Zombie Patterns. I just chalked it up to some $#%$# being a &^$%&$ and stayed with the PDF's. Vader, just download the ...
I tried to make one of me, but it just doesn't look like me, not enough matching features... Hair: I have long red hair, but I usually wear it in a pony tail. No long ponytail available for guys... Beard: I have a goatee, but not one like the ones available... But most of all, there are no options f...
I have a fantastic version of The Imperial March recorded by the Cincinatti Pops orchestra. I can shoot you the MP3 if you want it.Tkaraoke wrote:BTW: I wish I could get a copy of that acoustic version of the Imperial March.
Yeah, Halloween does seem to get bigger every year. And I don't think that's just because I/we are obsessed with it. Although this year the 31st is on a Wednesday, in the DEAD center of the week, which is sort of dissappointing.
I had the same problem, except you had about double the turnout compared to me. My plan this year is to post fliers on the mailbox hubs (20 or so mailboxes in one place) advertising both my site (which I will give free memberships to members of my community) and a carving party/demonstration ...
After. I think I saw LotL about this time last year, but didn't get to the Sleestack pattern until almost Halloween day. It was one of those "Last minute, I've-Gotta-Do-It" patterns.
Ok I've watched the DVD and I must say I'm a little disapointed both with what I remembered being carved and the shows themselves. Nostagia's overrated. You got that right. I remember how freakin' awesome Land of the Lost and Thundar the Barbarian were when I was a kid. I recently saw both of...
Great job to all the winners, and I did see that one that combined Ryan's Oogie Boogie and my Jack on the Hill design. It looks great, maybe Ryan and I should collaborate on a design or 2 this year?
Fantastic display!
I really want to do something like this. I plan on printing up fliers and inviting my entire neighborhood over on Halloween to have a neighborhood party, and get some photos of all the 'kins. I'd love to see all of my designs carved in one place, but that may be wishful thinking.
If you ever cross the pond and find yourself in Denver, look me up!
Kerrykins, just curious, what was the name of the stencil kit you got from Wal-Mart? I've never seen that pattern anywhere before.
I agree, that Igor is great!
It's Western culture 101. We have become a society of microwave ovens, disposeable products and electronics that are cheaper to purchase new than to get a broken one fixed. Instant gratification is the norm, and anything that takes longer than 5 minutes is simply not worth doing for the average pers...
Well, I'd love to take credit for it, but it wasn't me. If we're talking early/mid 90's I think Pumpkin Masters was the only game in town. That would my best guess. I know that Gene at Masterpiecepumpkins has a very comprehensive collection of the vintage PM pattern books, but I don't remember seein...
