OK...here are pics from this year's display. It was a breakout year for me. After 2 years of experimenting and redesigning, I finally feel like my display has matured. I only wish I had a bigger display area. My lawn is small and my garage space is limited. Most of it has to be indoors because weath...

When it rains, it pours. Another article from a more local newspaper... Unfortunately, none of the articles mentioned Zombie Pumpkins or Stoneykins, both of which I mentioned during the interviews. https://pamplinmedia.com/wlt/95-news/440561-353278-west-linn-man-displays-200-carved-pumpkins-in-his-g...

Sloaner, Yeah, our house is a decent size, but it has a very small front yard. We liked that because at the time we bought it, we didn't want to spend all day mowing a lawn. Now, I wish I had a larger front yard. The pumpkins go in the laundry room, garage, office, closets, basically any place I can...

The potted plant holders did a great job of breaking up the monotony of straight rows, but they took up a lot of space and they needed to be pro...

The Oregonian spent about 2.5 hours interviewing me about my display and about my current carving obsession. At one point during the interview, I showed her the carving tools I used and showed the keyhole saw for sale on Zombie Pumpkins. I also told her about the beginner-friendly patterns available...

I check frequently. But I, um, don't know what to say. I've been carving my butt off getting ready for a big season. Trying new display lights (lasers!) and just honing my carving skills. I've only been doing this for a few years, so I feel like I have tons to learn still.

Here is a glimpse of what I did last year. I had 150 pumpkins. This year will be much more elaborate with way more glow pumpkins, more lights on the outside, more fog, and more lasers. https://i.imgur.com/RSmFNze.jpg https://i.imgur.com/VrSkYEU.jpg https://i.imgur.com/ouhSssL.jpg https://i.imgur.com...
