Hi, Eric - Just to add to my earlier post - I am sort of assuming when you say "router" that it's probably actually a Dremel-type rotary tool -- that's what I use and what most of the carvers here use to shade... not tryng to split hairs on it, but I just wanted to make sure it was clear what I was ...

Eric - I hope others see this, because there are many other carvers here who are much more experienced with foamies than I am.... but it's the off-season and activity is slow, so I'll just put in my two cents... When I carve the foam 'kins (and even on reals), I usually remove the paint and shade th...

I couldn't agree more! We lost another Rock icon this week -- RIP... From the ZP! FB page, it looks like there was a Bowie pattern at one time - perhaps a VIP pattern that I missed...? I would love to add this pattern to my Patch.

Oh, my! Those are all great! I absolutely love the Raven Earrings! I used to make jewelry, too, and it's funny -- the thought never crossed my mind (duh!). Those measuring cups are simply the coolest. Nice haul! Merry Christmas (belated)!

I forgot to mention - I like the 23-LED bases you used for lighting. I saw some like them on 100candles.com, but was skeptical about them. They look nice; I think they'd be great for a walkway/driveway display. Just wish I could find one that rotates for two-sided carves - the Pumpkin Masters base I...

Nice work on the designs and carving. That pumpkin looks a bit squatty, so the size must've been even more of a challenge. It looks great! I've been playing with double-side designs on some of my foamies (mostly off-season: double the carves, for half the price), but I really like the idea of a thre...

Really, nice work! What a great theme for a wedding :) My wedding anniversary is also early November, and if I could do it over (after 20+ years! haha!) I would do the same. Well done - hope to see more of your work.

I wasn't sure where to put this - either carving photos or the Christmas balls, so Ryan feel free to move it. I have to say I LOVED carving this Christmas ball. It was so easy, and needed very little "clean up" with the diamond bit. I echo Ryan's comments about the paint. I outlined with a fresh exa...

Thank you, St0ney! I was just on their site this weekend and only saw the green color -- I am heading back to buy the red. I hope people post pictures of their carves on these balls... I am really excited about them, and am so glad to hear they carve like the regular foam pumpkins.
