They all look awesome!!! Diggin the Harry Potter theme
Thanks guys :) but did you have any trouble with the bubbles? When i carved the Jaws pattern, I did the bubbles with an electric drill. 8) Come to think of it...ya...the bubbles were tough too....and the swimmer....lol. I actually used the versa tool and tried to very carefully go in a circle. Not t...
LMAO!!!! That'd be a good twist thoughsloaner wrote:Twilight?
Besides just carving pumpkins I also do up my house BIG every year for Halloween. With that being said here's one of my new additions. Can anyone guess what flick he's from???
Hint: He's NOT Nosferatu......I'll admit he does look similar though
Had a bit of energy tonight so I figured I'd tackle one more pattern..........Had to go blue for the light on this one
The teeth were kinda tough. They need to make a mini blade for the versa tool!
Thanks again everyone!
Ryan, thanks for the info...I like the idea of tacking new ones at the end and updating the title
Thanks guys
@ Sloaner - One thread prob makes more sense. What's the best way to go about it....Just keep adding on to the first post?
Thanks guys :) Ya the Versa tool makes for a much smoother carve. I used a dremel last year to do a freddy & a Jason both on Michael's pumpkins......yikes......way to many jagged edges. I may try and touch those 2 up once I'm finished with the new ones........Although IMO jagged edges dont look half...
#2 is in the books. Had to shrink the pattern down to about 85% to get it to fit on the candy corn (which made it a tad tougher)....Yep you heard right....a candy corn  It was nice finding out that I can actually make the patterns smaller. Works out much better than trying to fit a full size p...
Finnaly got my first foam carve of the season done Also my first go at it with the versa tool.....I really like that thing! I picked an easier pattern to get the hang of it...but I think I'm ready to roll now. 1 down 14 more foamies to go in the next couple weeks. I love this time of year
Sweeeet!!! You're making my decision on which patterns to choose very tough...lol
Awesome pattern!!!
I can't wait! I've alrady got my eye on a couple new animatronic props. Hopefully I can find them in store to avoid the crazy shipping costs I"ll post a couple pics when I have things up and operational!
Might be a bit unconventional...but I'd go with a mini gun (if ammo wasn't an issue). The way I see it is if the mini gun can hit an invisible preadator in the jungle imagine what it can do to a large group of zombies
Almost forgot......a machete & a hockey mask for hand to hand combat
Classic horror/80s flick IMO.....Not to mention Stephen King is the mastermind behind this one so double bonus! This particular werewolf gave me a ton of nightmares growing up. Funny story....I used to wake up (on more than one ocassion) from my hearing my dad snore thinking it was the werewolf....l...
