I'm glad to see the early appreciation for this pattern. "Do a bird pattern" is much easier said than done. You've captured the creepy personality of the raven with some spooky atmosphere to boot. Love it!
I've honestly never been bothered by the poke method. I'm not exactly in a rush when carving a pumpkin. That said, I may have to give this stuff a shot. Nice tutorial!
