I had a request for photos of my Boxers so here they are! Here's Patrick Star. He's a golden brindle: http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b43/Cheshirekatt1/Dogs/P1020267.jpg And here's Minnie. She's convinced the camera is going to eat her soul and is really hard to get good photos of.... http://i16.p...

Another boxer person! ..pop a pic up! we have 3 Boxers, the youngest of which 3yrs is incredibly protective & has already chased 1 person away to the property edge, all 3 are vocal, ..not as good at informing of people outside as the cockateil though, he stats up when people are about 20ft from the...

I've got a fun WTWTA stencil. If I carve it this year I'll be sure to post some photos.

Well, pretty much any animal is safe. Keep it on the cutsey side and not too scary. Like traditional werewolf would be good but no fake blood or bone showing. I do Raggedy Ann a lot for kids stuff. It can be pretty elaborate still but not too scary or at all risque. I did Tragedy Ann once for a more...

I don't have that problem. I have 2 Boxers, 1 Mastiff and 3 Pit Bulls. Although none of my dogs would likely really *guard* the house (except for the Mastiff) people tend to not mess with me or my property! None of mine are really Halloween related but I have several pieces. All my work is done by Ricky Lahourcade at Lucky Devil in Seattle, WA. My Alice piece. It started out as just the Cheshire Cat for years and we recently added the rest: http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b43/Cheshirekatt1/Tattoo%20S...

Hottie's 2009 Carves

It's unseasonably warm here so the poor things aren't lasting very long. Oh well, guess that just means I'll have to carve more of them! I'm still using the crappy carving tools I have while I wait for my new ones to arrive. When I worked at a vet clinic I would use scalpel blades and they were awes...

I start picking up my pumpkins around the first of October. I carve about one a day and just toss the carved ones that get moldy before the big day. I carve about 35 total but have approximately 8-12 on display at all times. There are several pumpkin farms in my area so between those and the local s...

Those are fabulous! And good timing too, as I'm watching Nightmare Before Christmas right now as I carve.
