I know, he has that effect on people. It is good, though, I promise!GUS wrote:Ooh now you've gone & done it OTL
One mention of the Tennant & there'll be a riot to see this film good or bad.

Never listened to that one yet, but I really like the Marilyn Manson cover. I also put This Is Halloween as mine too. Yeah I know I should try to pick something that has not been picked already, but I do not want to. I actually like Panic At the Disco version more, perhaps because it sounds more li...
I really do want it! I'm sure there's a store somewhere near me that I can just go and pick it up without having to pay shipping.monstermash wrote:Nice stuff, I could buy a ton of things but the postage to the UK would be colossal. I hope you bought that spooky doormat Legs!
That said, I'm pretty sure this is one Halloween anthem I listen to every year. It never gets old, and never fails to get me excited for Halloween. These are lyrics I can surely relate to. Everyone hail to the pumpkin song. This Is Halloween Same here. And I'm afraid to admit that I really ...
My roommates and I were just talking about how much we love this movie. Hocus Pocus patterns are a must!
I'd love an Uncle Fester with the lightbulb.
I was just having a look round for a doormat and I found Pottery Barn's Halloween collection for this year. They've got some really cool stuff (most of which I wouldn't mind having up year round), but it is a bit pricey: http://www.potterybarn.com/shop/accessories-decor/halloween-accessories/?page=1 .
I saw it last night and I thought it was great. You have to go in thinking of it as a reboot/reimagining and not as a remake, as there are a fair few things that have been changed. David Tennant is the absolute star.
You could probably make cream cheese frosting rather than what they have in the recipe and use that instead. But I will say that my version of that frosting is mighty tasty.
This is a link to some pumpkin cookies that I've made a couple of times and they always go down well: http://www.bhg.com/recipe/cookies/melt-in-your-mouth-pumpkin-cookies/ . I make the frosting a bit differently as their recipe is almost a glaze. I put a lot more powdered sugar in it, so mine is mor...
Nah! Post them! I would love to see the costumes. You are a girl after my own heart. Zombies...YES....Derby....HELL YES! Well, if you're going to twist my arm. Here's a full view of the undertaker: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v241/madamtorsion/2008.jpg And a better one of the makeup: http://i...
It's going to be a bit harder to carve this year (but thank God for foamies!) as I'm living in a dorm...on the 24th floor. On the other hand, it is a dorm for graduate students, so I think I can decorate our door and such without worrying that someone is going to nick everything. And if I put pumpki...
OldTrustyLegs -- Nice, you've earned your cred around here by showing us that you've dressed up as both a zombie and a roller derby girl. Cool pics, and I'm glad to see that you don't look like FDR at all! I've also dressed up as a 19th century undertaker (complete with top hat and fabric tied roun...
Hello all! I'm new to these parts. Um, where to start? I'm a student at Loyola Chicago, where I'm studying for an MA in Theology. I have both a BA and an MA in History from Georgia State University. And that is, basically, my life at the moment. And...here's a picture of my jackie o's from 2009 (I c...
Hello all, I'm new here. Thought I'd share a couple of photos. This one here is right before I went out on the 4th Annual Zombie Pub Crawl here in Chicago. Which was held in April, of course. About 400 of us invaded Andersonville. I saw a lot of great costumes; Zombie!Hunter S. Thompson, Zombie!Mari...
