I can't wait to see the new site and patterns!
I don't really have a preference to either people or cartoons. I just have not posted very many pics of the people that I have done. Each year I try to choose a theme for my display, usually a current movie, and carve several pumpkins from the movie. I have done Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Matr...
Most of the patterns for the posted pumpkins were created free hand from pics in books. I now use photoshop to start to create a pattern, but I still like to finish the pattern with a pencil and paper.
I can't make my computer do what my mind can see very well.
Here is a link to some of the pumpkins that I have carved in the past, there are many more but these are the pumpkins that I have posted so far. I usually create patterns for the pumpkins that I carve, but now I am looking forward to carve some Zombie Pumpkins. http://s114.photobucket.com/albums/n24...
Zombiepumpkins. I really like the thought of an Evening Watchwoman!!! but I don't see why we couldn't have a Nightwatchman from Zombie Pumpkins too. Something a little more menacing perhaps.
Thanks Joey and Amanda. I have checked out your work you guys do some really nice work. I can tell that this is going to be a great forum to be a member of..
Thanks for the welcome!!
Yes I do recognize a few faces around here. Some of you may recognize my face but not my name, but it was already taken.
I have been lurking around the site for a couple of years, and decided that I needed to become part of the pumpkin community.
So I have joined this and several other sites, With the vast amount of talent and friendly help, the membership is a small price to pay.
I want to say hi to all of you. I am new to the forum but I have been carving for 20 years. I bought my first pumpkin carving kit in 1987 and I was hooked. I am really impressed by the quality of patterns and the great support that is available on the Zombie Pumpkins site!!!
