Oh, the game is great fun. What's not to like about hitting rabbits in the butt with plungers? My seven year old son can speak just like them.
Thanks for considering the pattern. I figured it's pretty simple. I'm just design impaired.

These rabbits are so hilarious. I think they'd make a great pattern.

I used my set on real pumpkins. I really liked it, a big step up from the cheapie sets. My only complaint was something that wasn't the fault of the set. When I carve, I like to use both the large and small blade at the same time, carving large chunks and then refining, then going back to the large ...
My favorite so far is my icon - the eye of newt. I got SO many compliments on it!
We had about 325. We live in a neighborhood that's a trick or treat destination. There's even a haunted house and one family giving out hot cider! Quite fun. We had families taking their children's picture by all my carved pumpkins!
After carving 16 thick hulled pumpkins with the hand saw and x-acto knife, my pointer finger is still so sore! Hopefully it won't take until next Halloween to heal!
I trim the pattern down. Then, I brush Elmer's glue on the back with a foam paintbrush, so that the entire pattern is evenly covered. Then, I apply it to the pumpkin and smooth out any air bubbles and curve it to fit. After it dries, I can carve it easily. As the juice comes out of the pumpkin as I ...
I had an assembly line tonight. We gutted, thinned and sprayed pumpkin fresh on 15 pumpkins tonight. Tomorrow I'll resize and apply patterns and let them dry, and start carving tomorrow night.
I'd like to do more, but even with the help of the pumpkin gutter, my hands are sore!
I think if anyone was around a cornered badger, they'd be hard pressed to find anything scarier!
Go badger!
I think the site looks amazing. Congrats on a great re-launch for the new season!
Return of the Zombie pumpkin
Thanks for the info (and moving the thread for me).
I've seen used sawzalls on Craigslist for around $15. I dont' have the cash for a new one!
I saw one member's video of using the pumpkin gutter, and I was impressed. However, I saw that a sawzalll was used to cut open the top "lid" of the pumpkin cleanly. I've looked around online for a used one. However, my non-pumpkin crazy husband thinks I'm going overboard. Any suggestions for things ...
I just ordered a pumpkin gutter on Wednesday. I can't wait for it to arrive. Do you all use it with a corded or cordless drill, or does it matter? Does the drill get hot with longer use, like with a larger pumpkin?
I think this is the first year than my husband and friends thing I'm a bit goofy. I'm trying to recruit help for carving and gutting the weekend before Halloween. They just shake their heads and laugh. The hubby doesn't know I purchased a pumpkin gutter yet. Thanks for the welcome everyone. I'll def...
