Has nothing to do with hackers, it's just the server can't handle the load the final days of halloween.

wow, I'm always amazed at how you can even do that many (with help). I do 3-4 every year and I'm about sick of carving by then.

Was reading a moviefone article about movie pumpkins and noticed quite a few of Ryans designs getting some spotlight.

Tracing is old school =P I cut out the pattern, round the corners so it lays flat, use a glue stick all over the back of it, stick it on the pumpkin and smooth out all the wrinkles with my fingers so that it's perfectly into every fiber of the face. Then I let it dry for 3-5mins and carve right thro...

It's actually quite possible for something of this sort to occur. Not "dead" zombies of course, but I think a virus is highly capable of changing the way our brains work enough to become too aggressive to act and live "normally", therefore causing an outbreak and change in lifestyle of sorts. I find...

E.T. glow-finger

So the new E.T pattern is out and it's awesome. I'm trying to decide how to make the finger glow and I thought of something. How about not carving the hand/arm and just doing the scrape method within the lines, then cutting out the tip of the finger. That way it looks like his hand is in the shadows...

It's something I'll always remember and I don't think I would want to take back the mistake if I could. What would I have to talk about this Halloween if last Halloween didn't go horribly wrong?=P

lol they were hilarious looking. My grandparents came over to see them and my grandfather says "So why are they smoking and covered with that white stuff" I busted out laughing because I didn't have the heart to reveal my serious mistake. Later he says, hey that ones light has gone out, when in fact...

Something about freezing all the water inside a pumpkin destroys it's stability. When water freezes, it forms ice, pointed, jagged knife-like ice crystals that tear away at the pumpkin flesh on a microscopic level. Heh, I know this now, my response was more of a joke=P. After I did...

Well my story starts with gutting my 6 pumpkins too early because I was just so ready to do some carving. So because I gutted and carved too early, I had heard somewhere that refrigerating can keep the pumpkins from rotting too quickly. Well, note to self, Refrigerating does not mean FREEZING. I had...

That's awesome, I would suggest trying the glue method again, use a glue stick, a big one, apply it everywhere and let it drive for about 15-20 minutes, you won't ever want to do it any other way. I used to be "old school" and use the dotting method, then I tried the glue stick and my patterns are s...
