"When black cats prowl and pumpkins gleam, may luck be yours on Halloween!" :pirate: If there is anyone who is unprepared for this year's Halloween, it has to be me. I have just managed a single (morose, if I may add) pumpkin till date, and my kids' Halloween costumes for this year are going to be ...

Loved the idea of the pumpkin spice latte pizza! Here's another place with some interesting Halloween activities - it has crafts, as well as Halloween games among other things. The 'Spider in my Drink' activity is so simple and yet equally creepy; we tried it out last year and a couple of people act...

I do! I've read the one called 'The Dead Zone' - the story of the schoolteacher Johnny Smith, who awakens from a coma with psychic abilities. I've also read 'It' - liked this one better - and I have to admit that I've been fearing clowns since then. Next on the list is 'The Stand'. Have read so muc...

On my reading list this year, have heard so much about this one that I am really looking forward to it. Read somewhere that it is based on over two hundred interviews with former Sega and Nintendo employees?! Just imagine the amount of research that must've gone into penning this story down!

Team Fortress 2 as well as DotA (Defence of the Ancients). Hooked to both, so much so that my day is incomplete without playing either of them for a couple of hours at least. And when I finish with these, I move onto lighter games (yes, games again !) which I play with my daughter, such as these fun...

I guess Troll 2 didn't make much of an impression at its time, but this was a sort of a rediscovery of the same movie and it definitely grabbed eyeballs. And I loved the title - Best Worst Movie - so apt!

I used to love chewing gum back in my school days. Then one day some dumb senior girl told me a story about how a kid who ate so much of gum got so sick that he had to have an operation and get it sucked all out of his body. I remember I gave up eating gum for quite a long time after that and once w...

Thanks for the list..will add it to mine! Just finished reading To Rise Again At A Decent Hour by Joshua Ferris. This one was shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize and made for a very interesting read. It explores the absurdities of modern life and one man's search for meaning. One of the critics put...

Gosh, they're creepy! Here's another two sentence horror story I came across the other day:
Don't be scared of the monsters, just look for them. Look to your left, to your right, under your bed, behind your dresser, in your closet but never look up, she hates being seen.
