It was a really fun night. We had nice weather and a good turn out. We had about 115 trick or treaters stop by. I was able to get all of the pumpkins I planned to carve done except for one. I hope everyone had a good Halloween.

I loved that commercial last year. Here's my attempt at the Kit Kat pumpkin. I had about a half dozen people/kids ask me if it was from the Kit Kat commercial. The rest wanted to know why a piece of candy was in its mouth.

Another vote for Thanos, Black Panther, Gamora, Nebula or the rest of the Avengers or Guardians. I would definitely appreciate more of the female members of the MCU as well. I am thinking of a Marvel carving theme this year and would love more Marvel Zombie Pumpkins patterns. I can't get the idea of...

One of my earliest attempts at a shaded carve. I used the image above as my pattern and yes, I had to find a very long pumpkin to fit it and be able to carve it. Forgot to close the loop on the snake but that's what happens when you carve while tired. I would love to see a Zombie Pumpkins pattern fo...

I was so sad the show was cancelled. I have been watching her Youtube show as well. Different than the Netflix show but still quite good. Christine is very talented and has a delightfully creepy aesthetic. I still recommend it strongly to anyone here. If you love Halloween, chances are you will love...

Christine McConnell

I binged through the show "Curious Creations of Christine McConnell" while carving my pumpkins this year. For those who haven't seen it, it is an awesomely entertaining cross between Martha Stewart type crafts and cooking (but with a Halloween/creepy element to it) and the sensibilities of Tim Burto...

Re: Really Really Cool LED Disc Lights with Remote !!

I ordered 2 of these and used them for Halloween this year. I found them on Amazon but they were not as low priced as those listed on Ebay. I think I paid about $5 per light. They make a good replacement for the old school color changing Howler lights that are no longer for sale. I put them in a Che...

Great patterns! I can't wait to carve them. The kids in my sisters class and our neighborhood will love these.

I have to put in another vote for Frozen. I am planning on some Disney carves this year (especially your new Snow White stuff! Looks amazing!)and would love to see your take on Elsa, Anna and Olaf. My sister teaches first grade and it sounds like half of the little girls in her class will be dressed...

Snake from Nightmare Before Christmas

I would love to see a pattern for the snake from Nightmare Before Christmas. I've always imagined a snake wrapping around a pumpkin. I'm not necessarily committed to the tree in the snake's mouth or the bulges on the snake where he ate the presents. I just love the idea of that snake and think he'd ...

Yes, please, to the Dia de los muertos skull!!

I didn't do Monster Harvest that year and I am bummed I missed out. I would love to see the old design again as well as a new one to complement it.

mesmark, that sounds amazing. I can almost see the carved pumpkin now based on your description. I would love to see more pirate patterns at Zombie Pumpkins. Last year I did an all pirate theme. I carved 21 pumpkins and I believe that 8 of them were from ZP. I carved the Pirates of the Caribbean pat...

Yes!! Any and all additional patterns from the world of Tolkien would be awesome.

Thanks for the welcome, Ryan. I've been carving your patterns for the last 7 or 8 years and lurking around here for some time. I figured it was time to join when I saw Tolkien being discussed!

I too must add my vote for a Balrog. In fact, I joined the forum a moment ago because I would love to see this pattern on my porch this year! I have loved Tolkien and all things Lord of the Ring and Hobbit for years. I'm always looking for more Tolkien patterns, in the hopes that one Halloween I can...
