We lucked out - rain earlier in the day but the evening was perfect. I sat outside to hand out treats the whole evening. Excellent night for trick or treating.

We have jack-o-lantern fever. Partially preference, part that the kins were molding quick and part I started to carve Monday. My son was a big help with year. Happy Halloween everyone! Finally got carving in the last two days and knocked out about 10 - we kept it mostly jacks this year. With rain subsiding at 5pm we expect close to 400 kids to come by. I'll post pics soon.

I'm curious, I think I started carving these patterns a couple years before I joined the forum (or at least before I started talking on them). The first I remember carving was Kustom Frankie or Chewbacca. Both fine patterns. Could be a grinning jack, I do love those.

One would hope it’s not just women disturbed by a Cosby carving pattern. Dude is likely one of the most prolific rapists of our time.

I’m all for dark/sick humor but putting that out for trick or treaters would garner some strong reactions.

I’d take one of the grinning jacks and stretch it out. I love tall thin pumpkins with a huge mouth carved in it.
