No idea on the year or the pattern. I just know that some of my oldest foamkins and a couple of windowkins bear the Zombiepumpkins style.
I would love to see a video tutorial of someone doing shading on a foamie... Ask and you shall receive. This playlist has an extreme carve all the way from black line removal to finished carve. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLXhi40gg3cyzSNPuonLW6UysDI35yWuPr Just a disclaimer though... this...

I don't use the bit to shade per say. I just outline and segment the area. I then use homemade chisels made from screwdrivers to do the shading. I have a bad video showing the technique but it will film a better one next week.

Depends on if the kiddies are Star Trek fans!

It's real pumpkin time...and time to show some Zombie love. These carves are for our local pumpkin walk. I shaded them fully to help make them last the entire week of the walk. Great carves, great job!
I'm planning on carving 15 pumpkins, so I'm not sure I'll be able to soak them without buying several trash cans. Maybe an hour per day will have benefits? What about just a daily spraying of bleach water? I have found that spritzing them with water does absolutely zero. They must be soaked. I woul...
I put a rubbermaid container or 3 behind my display. Fill with water and a couple of capfuls of bleach. Soak over night, every night, and they will last for 2 to 3 weeks. They always come out fresh and plump as the day they were carved.
This works too for a severely wilted kin.
I put it in the top center of my display and my wife is not a fan. It is very un-nerving in person.Raven wrote:The Exorcist one is truly frightening!
