We had about 150 which around what I planned on. We had a slow start also but once the rain stopped it picked up but ended early this year.

We had really strong winds and rain all day. The rain passed but the wind did not I had a hard time keeping my pumpkins lit. Lots of trick or treaters and everyone still had fun.

I still have quite a few to finish but the sticker paper is mkaing quick work of them. I started carving a few weeks ago but most of my pumpkins are holding up pretty well with the cold weather and rain we have been having.

I have a inflatable spongebob dressed as a pirate on my roof. So all the kids coming yelling Spongebob Spongebob, but as they get closer they get a bit more freaked out. With all the smoke and lights and howls, it really lures them in.

Another thing to look for when you buy pumpkins is always lok at the bottom. I have seen many that have sat around a bit and start to get just the smallest soft spot in a few days it can turn the whole thing to mush.

I used this method this evening and had great results. But the paper I used was the 2 piece UPS labels. Once I printed the pattern I just had to run a piece of tape down the middle. It stuck on pretty well but you should be sure the pumpkin is dry and warm. The best part is the labels are free since...

Everytime I carve the Head Cheerleader some people have a hard time figuring out the image. But that is about the only one.

We got a ton of rain this year which was good and bad for the kins. The farms that were well drained did well but the ones that flooded did very poorly. I have also had good luck with just soaking them in reguler water. It stayspretty cold in northern ny all month. About 45 degrees all day so I don't really have to worry about mold so much.

Well we get them froma wholesaler who doesn't do any business with the public. In order to get that price we had to order 200 or more. They were all pretty big from 25 lbs. to 40 lbs. Not a bad crop. We sell the extras for 3 - 5 bucks each. We are lucky since we live around lots of farms.

We bought all of ours from a local pumpkin patch for 1.50 each. We bought 300 this year. But sold the extras to offset the cost of the ones we will carve.

Ryan I am glad I have a large numbe rof pumpkins to carve since you keep adding new must carves to our arsenal. Very nice.
