My “ pumpkin” is actually a gourd; it’s 3 years old and dried. It is the size of Jack Be Littles, though. I was hoping someone else had seen the gourds or seeds for them somewhere. I would also like to know if anyone had tried carving one. Thanks for the reply.

The photos are gorgeous. I especially like the spider webs. There’s a way you’re supposed to be able to spray a web with a fixative to stiffen it then slide a piece of paper behind it to attach it, but I’ve never been to do it.

My pumpkin was knocked off the porch by a freak wind gust, & is split in the back. I don’t think it’s carvable anymore. I was really looking forward to finding a great pattern for it.

In the past, I would take a longish pattern and cut it into 3 pieces. Then glue to the pumpkin so each piece matches the shape of the pumpkin. You are stretching the pattern by cutting it up and replacing it on the pumpkin. You’re a genius; I think I could do that. I’m going to start looking for pa...
