Most Creative 2007:
Lacey Mason
Lacey and her fiance Michael were seeking a Tim Burton style jack-o-lantern pattern, and luckily they came to the right place. Their elaborate sculptures strike fear into crows, as well as their competition. If there's any debate about whether this entry should win the creativity prize, let me ask you... did you build a scarecrow and a life-size headless horseman riding atop a smoke-breathing, rearing horse? Didn't think so.

"Here is first entry in your pumpkin carving contest! I joined your site specifically for the pattern I used in the pumpkin for our scarecrow. We had so much fun building it. We'll definitely be joining again next year! We live for Halloween and love your patterns."

"Our scarecrow is loosely based on the one at the beginning of Tim Burton's Sleepy Hollow crossed with Jack's Pumpkin King scarecrow outfit from the beginning of The Nightmare Before Christmas."

Most Creative Runner Up 2007:
S.A.M.
This creative carver had a bunch of well crafted and colorful pumpkins, including this "scarecrow / serial killer guy" featuring the Revenge mascot face.

Most Creative Runner Up 2007:
Tanis
The Jolly Roger design comes with its own crossed cutlasses, but Tanis took things a step further and impaled her pumpkin on a pair of actual swords. Arrr!
