Pumpkin Carving For The Jack o'Lantern Enthusiast
Massapequa, New York
October, 2007

You might say I'm a Jack o'Lantern enthusiast. Or your might call me a fanatic. Or maybe I'm just a nut. I love Halloween. And I love carving pumpkins. Maybe its just the season of slasher films and spooky tales, but I enjoy stabbing the cap off the pumpkin, ripping its guts out, and carving an intricate pattern with the technical precision of my favorite horror movie madman.

One of my favorite sites to visit for inspiration is called Zombie Pumpkins (www.zombiepumpkins.com). They are hands down my top pick for crazy-cool carving stencils. With categories ranging from movie villains, to rock stars, to kids favorites, this site has it all. I've carved at least a dozen or two of these designs and every one came out stellar. Some turn out so great that the neighbors are too scared to walk past them and up the steps!

So if you want to satisfy that itch to slash or stab something (without all the screaming or possible police involvement) check out Zombie Pumpkins for carving stencils that will put your scariest face forward this season.
