Yep, already getting excited here for sure! People do look at me weird when I tell them I've started work on my costume though...

I was looking at photos I took last year, and remembered that I saw Halloween candy in the stores during the first week of July. I can't believe how soon that will be.

Lately I've even had people who aren't really into Halloween telling me, "Hey, not much time before Halloween season starts." As if I didn't know. But still, it's cool that people are starting to recognize that for some of us, Halloween is not just one day.

I am too. I have been watching horror movies a lot. Of course that is because I bought 100 for myself and got 190 for my birthday and graduation. I also was going to start making stuff over the summer, but do not know how that will work out yet.

Exactly! It is never too early to prepare for Halloween. Just like it is never to early to prepare for Christmas, Easter, St. Patrick's Day, and et cetera. I want to do a big graveyard in my back yard for the Trick-Or-Treats to walk through to get candy, but that could take a lot of preparation.

I've already planned out my costume, so has my husband, although he isn't changing from last year.

I went to Michaels craft store today and they have a few fall type decorations out. They did have some Halloween themed ribbon, but that was all the creepy I noticed.

Hobby Lobby already has some Christmas on the shelves..

Just got the Fall edition of The Lakeside Collection today. It is a catalog that sells some Halloween stuff. Went A.C. Moore to buy Paracord to make bracelets and they had fall stuff (pumpkin scented candles and hay bundles) too, but not too much. Of course their is one store that I like to visit that has Halloween stuff all year round and that is Everyday's A Party and I think that is only around here.

Hobby Lobby now has a lot of fall stuff out, no real Halloween yet. They also have a TON of Christmas stuff out taking up half the store already. I hope they make room for the creepy stuff and get it out soon!

I know Christmas is a bigger holiday, where more people do decorations, crafting and gifting for it (and I know you love Christmas too, RavensDestiny). But still... I can't believe they put out Christmas stuff in the summer, before Halloween! Good thing Christmas isn't in November. Otherwise, poor Halloween might overlooked.
