Here's my annual, custom designed Christmas card. The inside reads "Merry Chrithmath and Happy Holidayth."

Absolutely spectacular! Your photoshop skills are so amazing. What images created this beautifull card?

More importantly, how does one do something like this in photoshop. Do you use CS5 or 6?

Hey, thanks. I created this Christmas card image in Adobe Photoshop CS5. How it was done exactly, is tough to put into words. After 15 years with the program, I just sorta... do it.

It started with a posed photo I took of myself, which I placed in front of a background image (that's the house from A Christmas Story, by the way). And then various texture overlays of snowflakes, frost, metal, etc. Color tweaks to certain areas, a digital tongue drawn in, and so on.

Here are the components that went into the final image:
