Brian Keene's "The Rising", and it's sequel "City of the Dead" are just awesome! All his books are great, but his take on zombies is really cool!

Indeed, he does have a cool take on the zombie theme. I didn't realize "City of the Dead" was a sequel when I read that book first, but I still enjoyed it. This reminds me, I should pick up some more of Brian Keene's novels.
