I hate when they do that, I can see a month or month and a half in advance, but not three to four months ahead.

I've been told of Halloween sightings at Micheals :) I'll have to check it out myself

I had the weird feeling that they might. I was browsing through some pictures I took last year and the date I took the picture of last years Michael's craft pumpkins was July 16th, so maybe they would have some now.

I'm in the mood now. I think this has been the earliest that the halloween bug has ever bitten me.

Don't get me wrong I think it's great that people like ourselves start tinkering with this and that months in advance for the big day but its a bit wierd to hear that stores are already bringing out halloween stuff.
They're coming to get you, Barbara!

The bug comes earlier and earlier each year. I have been watching old Horror movies and making halloweenish jewelry. I also have to start planning out costumes and maybe having a party (which depends on how well my Star Wars Days turn out this year).

I think Michaels gets all of their halloween stuff in before the fourth of july but waits until the second or thidr week of july to start putting it out. Last year I struck up a conversation with a manager and she went back and got me a foam pumpkin before they were out on the shelves. I was reassured to hear that I wasnt the first to make such a request so early!!!!

That is how I got my first two last year. Except they had them in a bin near the check out, I asked and they let me have two. I think they always hold a few back, because they carve them too for display and to attempt to sell them pre-carved. Also last year they had this thing were you could have them carve your name into one.

On and side note the more and more I read the articles about Halloween slowly creeping into stores and our lives, the "itch" only gets stronger and stronger and stronger.

Okay the itch must really be getting bad. I just had a dream last night that Ryan changed the forum to the new theme for this Halloween. It was weird looking. Instead of the black that is on both sides, it was replaced with a sort of an orange colored picture of people wearing gas masks. I do not know what it means.

Hmm... wouldn't it be interesting if your dream turned out to be some sort of prediction, pagemaster1993?

Yes, yes it would. It would also be a little weird.

I need to actually start soon if I want more paper mache stuff this year! Also we have new neighbours this year (who we get on with lol) and we've decided to do a little Halloween 'show down' (all light hearted fun... is gonna be close though as they are good at lights/sounds techy stuff, I'm more a hands-on girl!)

I've been thinking of Halloween since Feb lol! Not drawn anything up but today when I decided to resurrect on the forums (arms out raising from a grave type) its the ball rolling... roll on WEENY!
