Vibhandaka 2011 Carves and such. Updated 11-01-11

Last weekend (Oct. 2) I went to my first "pick-your-own" pumpkin patch!!! It was awesome! We got the best pumpkins we've ever had, the quality between these pumpkins and the ones from retail stores is major. Here are some pics from that day.

Today (October 9), was the first carve of the season!!! I, of course had to do the hardest pattern imaginable and chose Freddy Kreuger. There's a slight error in his last "finger" due to a mess up with transferring.

Once I decided to do Freddy, my sis-in-law decided to do Michael Myers and we conned my mom into carving Jason! We are really pleased with the effect!

As always, thanks for awesome patterns Ryan!!!

My mom, S-I-L, and I are having our carving party the 15th and we should have around 20 people, I'm sure I'll update with pics after that.

Thanks for looking!

Great horror trio to kick off the season. That looks like a lovely patch too. I'd have trouble leaving the place. :)

Great carves. Love The Legacy Collection pic, it's fabulous.

I already regret not carving The Wolfman but you have carved him beautifully.
in the name of The Carver and the holey Gourd. Amen.

Excellent excellent. You chose some tricky patterns, with the likes of Freddy and Bicycle Girl in this lot. I carved the bike girl zombie myself, and as I was cutting out her tiny teeth and eyes, I said to myself, "why did I subject the poor people to all these tiny pieces!" Haha. Clearly it's possible though, as you and many others did a fantastic job. I also like your Universal collection... of pumpkins and movies. Howling good show.

Don't be intimated by the maniacs here that do dozens of carvings. 6 is a lot for one person! Great work.

The Universal Trio looks awesome! Your picture does it justice. I did the same thing last year and hope to do it again with the Mummy and Phantom. You have some really great pics this year.
