I'd go with the same as I always do by recommending a head injuries rehabilitation charity, I sometimes actually think that folk with a visible disability are somewhat luckier than "hidden" non physically manifesting injuries, I really feel for the folk I know who are caught "forever 14" or wherever the recovery ends, adult body frustrated mind from folk who were once like you & I ..well you lot, I turned my brain to mush years ago, trust me it's a hard slog people, so many folk are hard to live with & find it nigh on impossible to maintain proper employment, social life, social skills thereafter, often ending in alcoholism.
As someone who didn't get proper treatment for the initial injury I was I think to a degree lucky, because the help you got in that situation was utter garbage, there were 3 of us from the same village within six months, & boy am I glad 'm not the other two!
