I'm trying cob webs for the first time in years and I need some help. The roof extends over the porch a bit so I thought I'd enclose the porch with cob webs, thought it might be a neat effect. Today they look terrible! Everything has sagged and bundled up at the bottom. All of my efforts at stretching them out and hooking them onto everything is pretty much a disaster today.

These are the store-bought variety that are supposed to stretch out to 13.5 cubic feet. Please help, I want to make a good impression to encourage the neighbors to decorate too. We may not get too many kids but I miss living on a street that decorates.

I have had the same problem and so i usually leave the webs until halloween night. I'm not sure what you can do to fix it though aside from starting again :(

once they get really wet or dewey they are done i normally put some up prior then redo on halloween or the day before, a fine fine tooth comb helps when streching to make them really thin and wispy
